Prior to tryouts, players should register and pay the necessary fees through both the school district ($190) and the ERHS boys lacrosse booster club ($270) which directly supports the team. Fall Lacrosse: 5 Week Season, running September 10 - October 8, 2023.  Games on Sundays between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.  Potentially 1-2 practices during the week.  Cost: $100 per player.  Open to returning JV and Varsity players, and new high school players intending to register for the 2024 season.

Great Pumpkin Shootout. October 14-15, 2023; location TBD.  4 Game guarantee. Cost TBD. 

Registration for 2024 Season: Opens in February 2024.

Captains' Practices: January 9 - March 28, 2024.  See Captains' Practice below for practice days and times.

Mandatory Parent Meeting: February 26, 2024 at 7:30. Media Center at ERHS.

Team Grocery Bagging Fundraiser: March 29, 2024 at Jerry's from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Players to sign up for a two hour shift.

Tryouts: April 1, 2, and 3, 2024 at the Raptor's Nest from 5:30-7:30.  Uniforms to be distributed after the final day of tryouts. Booster club will provide pizza and drinks to players in the cafeteria during uniform distribution.

Car Wash Fundraiser: Car Wash cards to be handed out to all player following April 4 practice.

Team Pictures: April 5, 2024;  5:00 pm at  Raptor's Nest

Regular Season Practices: Begin April 4 after tryouts.  All practices will be at the Raptor’s Nest and run from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm [tentatively]. Varsity will practice Saturdays from 12 pm - 2 pm [tentatively].

Tentative Preseason Scrimmages: April 6 at Farmington HS. JV to scrimmage Farmington and Centennial; Varsity to scrimmage Farmington and CDH.

Youth Night:  April 19, 2024 vs. Woodbury

Senior Night:  May 10, 2024 vs. Park

Northern TapHouse Fundraiser:  June 4, 2024.  10% of the sales proceeds donated to ERHS Boys Lacrosse.

End of Season Banquet: June 2024. Day, Time and Location TBD.

Captains’ Practices are set to begin on January 9 and end March 28.  

Registration Fee: $100

There are 22 practices held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at The MAC Facility ( 2122 Wooddale Drive Woodbury, MN 55125).  

Tuesdays: 1/9, 1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6*, 2/13*, 2/20*, 2/27*, 3/12*, 3/19*, and 3/26*

Thursdays:  1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22, 2/29, 3/14*, 3/21*,  and 3/28*

Practice times will be 7:30-9:00 pm except for the practices on 1/11, 1/18 and 1/25, which three practices will run 6:00-8:00 pm.

* PLL and NLL Pros Ryan Terefenko and Jeff Henrik will run these 10 practices.  Booster Club fees and last year's fundraising provided the opportunity to add additional captains' practices and professional coaches this season while maintaining the same registration fee from last year. All returning players and players considering trying out (including 8th graders) are strongly encouraged to register and participate. 

Practices are full pads except players must where tennis shoes/sneakers - there are NO CLEATS permitted on The MAC field.

Regular Season: 5-week season, Double-headers each Sunday, September 10 - October 8, 2023. Games run between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Field Locations:

- North: National Sports Center/Irondale HS

- East: McMurray Fields St. Paul/Concordia University St. Paul

- South: Burnsville HS

- Northwest: Wayzata HS

*Booster club has requested to play in the East division where games are scheduled at McMurray Fields; but field location may vary week to week.

Rules:  NFHS Lacrosse Rules. Each game is staffed by certified officials, EMTs, site managers, and scorekeepers.  US Lacrosse membership is required for all players and coaches.
