The Suicide Prevention Collaborative (SPC) is a nonprofit organization that is made up of a group of professionals and community volunteers who are dedicated to preventing teen suicide in the eastern metropolitan area of the Twin Cities.
The SPC has generously provided our group with the funds that we need to run our events. Through them we are able to organize events that help raise awareness and provide help, accomplishing the SPC's goals in our school.
YANA, or You Are Not Alone, is a student organization designed to promote mental health awareness and decrease the stigma around mental illness. We do this through running fundraisers, organizing school-wide events, and advocating for students in need. All of our meetings and events are open to anyone, so please join us at any time and email us with questions and comments!
A large part of dealing with mental health revolves around being able to talk to someone, or get the help and resources you need. Here are some resources, either people at our school or organizations, that you can access for help!
